GT Fishing

Ever had an itch you couldn’t scratch?

Most serious GT fishermen do, it’s that elusive 100lb GT.

Our guide Eddy knows that feeling. He is serious about putting you in the position of being able to catch that elusive fish.

Exmouth offers exceptional GT fishing with 30kg fish regularly hooked and monster fish up to 40kg and over
not uncommon.

Eddy has an intimate knowledge of the area and is passionate about chasing GT’s.

These prize fish are targeted by casting poppers and stick baits in different locations around Exmouth. Spots fished include the deeper flats, reef edges and surf areas.

Regular welcome by-catch when chasing GTs include red bass, coral trout, cod, spangled emperor, Spanish mackerel, sailfish and many more….

Have you ever dreamt of catching a billfish? Or do you have another billfish species to cross off the list?

Exmouth Gulf and the Ningaloo Reef boast an outstanding 6 species of billfish throughout the year. These include: blue, black and striped marlin, broadbill, short billed spearfish and sailfish.

So wether you want to be out wide chasing big blue and striped marlin on 30-130lb stand up tackle, trying light tackle bait and switch fishing for a world record sized sailfish or chasing our huge numbers of small to mid size black marlin on fly, then Peak Sportfishing has you covered.

We use the highest quality equipment. Our tackle consists of: custom built Ian Miller rods matched with Shimano Tiagras, Daiwa Saltiga spin reels and Daiwa Saltist lever drags.

Our custom built 25ft Contender has been fitted with a T-top command station for elevated views. This ensures your guide never misses a sign on the ocean that your dream fish is about to appear.
